How do parents feel about about Rain or Shine Daycare

Rain or shine is the best thing that happened to our little boy! I cannot speak enough about how amazing this daycare is. The care my son received was incredible and I never worried about him for one second. They show love and compassion. Lidiana was flexible with me and my family when we needed it. They live right by the main park and library so the kids are always entertained! Price is extremely reasonable also!

When we met Lidiana, she came across as friendly and energetic. As first-time-parents, this made it easier to decide to send our son to Rain or Shine, but it still didn't make it easy. After having spent every day with him for a year, it was beyond difficult entrusting his care to someone we had just met. After having our son at her daycare for a while, we've found those qualities to be true, and through her interactions with me, my wife, and with our son, we also found that she's sweet, caring, motherly, and trustworthy. She's a mother of three beautiful kids, and it shows in the way that interacts with and cares for the children at her daycare. As we've gotten to know her, we started to realize how lucky we were to find such a responsible, well-rounded human being to care for our son. She keeps her place clean, provides multiple meals per day for the kids, takes them on a field trip to the library or the park almost every day, has a large backyard for them to play in, and most importantly, the children are always happy when I'm there. They look engaged in what they're doing or with the adult they're with, and they always have someone watching over them, whether it's Lidiana herself, or her amazing helper, Jojo. When you watch them interact with the children, you just know that they actually care about them. They're not overextended and don't mind just getting down on the ground with the kids to spend time with them at the pace that they need. If we have another child, we're definitely sending them to Rain or Shine.

As first-time parents, we were terrified of leaving our daughter at daycare. However, she absolutely loved Rain or Shine from the very beginning. They provide educational and recreational activities, take the children on field trips to the park and the library, and keep their bellies full with healthy meals. Most importantly, they cared for our daughter in a way that any parent would want. It is clear she developed close relationships with Lidiana and Jojo. She would jump into their arms every morning and cry when we picked her up because she wanted to stay longer. She would say "Ana" and "Jo" when they weren't around and would list the names of all her friends at school. The bond Lidiana and Jojo created with our daughter was very special and we couldn't ask for anything more. We will miss them dearly.

I know Lidiana for over 18 years. She is a very trust worthy and hard working individual. She has a great judgment when it comes to emergency and she is extremely organized and she follows all the OSHA and safety protocols. She is also very kind and empathic and she knows how to connect to the kids, listen and make them feel comfortable and safe. She has a very upbeat personality and disciplined at the same time. Anyhow, she is the only person other than immediate family that has the keys to my house and my business.

Lidiana and her team are absolutely wonderful - I was frantically reading reviews and worried as we needed a solution for daycare and we were so fortunate to have had our toddler in her care.

Things I was looking for in a daycare that Lidiana + her in-home team do (and are amazing at!)

* Safe

* A daycare with a schedule but not *too* intense (ours was just a toddler, I want them to learn without it being too strict, yet not be bored and not too large of size)

* Super caring and hands on with the infants and kids - She has tons of experience and it shows in the way she talks to the kids and tells them "Ok everyone say bye!" Or "Good job!"

* Lots of positivity + activities - Love that they take them to the park and library! It helped our kid start to like the playground v being horrified about playgrounds.

* Encourages play with other children + speaks with them - Under Lidiana's care our daughter learned many new words and phrases....

If you're exhausted from your daycare search, we highly recommend Lidiana!!

As a first time mom, the thought of sending your baby away to a stranger for care anywhere other than yourself gives me mad anxiety. I did my homework/research and eventually picked Rain or Shine day care. To be honest I was very skeptical in the beginning as any parent would be. But that worry was gone very quickly. I can safely say this it is the best decision I've ever made. Lidiana, the owner, is a mother of 3 happy and lovely kids, not to mention, she is also very sporty/fit so she could actually keep up with the high energy demand!

My son never fussed since day one. Lidiana gave him so much attention every time he had his moments. She just gets it, she understood a child's needs, signals and gentle with emotions. I always joke my son gets more hurt at home under my care than when he's under her care.

My son smiles when he sees her house, and doesn't want to leave when we pick him up. I got lowkey jealous when he wanted her more than me sometimes…
